“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” Maya Angelou(for more quotes on creativity that could inspire you: http://wisdomquotes.com/creativity-quotes/)
Lately I’ve been thinking about creativity & my creativity and thinking about how interesting and important it is. My creativity changes a lot.
I used to wish it away because sometimes I get inspiration at inconvenient times. I write screenplays for film and tv mostly and when I come up with an idea I see the scene in my head like it’s already created.
I never see the whole picture only a scene or part of a scene. It makes it really hard to pay attention because a lot of the time I get inspiration from or while someone is speaking.
God bless my mom for always having to deal with me never listening and always having to repeat herself. I also would be writing a screenplay and not like something and instead of just changing it or seeing the good in it I would tell myself I suck and I’m terrible writer.
But now I just change it or tell myself to keep writing and see if it makes sense with the story and know I’ve been getting more ideas then ever.
I can almost never write just one thing at time right now I’m writing like three or four things, all ideas I love.
That’s the point of this blog to tell/remind every artist to NEVER wish your creativity and imagination away and to be okay with trying new creative things.
My creativity changes a lot. I went from all covers to making “KayKhats” a series were I talk about important topics to now making comedy sketches and I also want to start talking about important issues and topics as well I’m not sure when I upload this if the video will be out yet but I’m making a video about my opinion on “feminism” the movement and the word itself. I’m so happy to finally know what I want to do with my channel.
I always knew most of what I wanted to do with my life for like the last two or three years- a film maker.
I don’t care that people say it’s easier to get a better paying job like a doctor or a lawyer or whatever. I want to be a film maker and I know it’s what I was made to do.
And you have to remember that to if you have passion(s) you want to reach for but people tell you no do it anyway. In fact let them saying no make you so angry you want to pursue you passions even more.
I hope you enjoyed this blog and were inspired to stay/be creative. I love all of you...peace out!
